As of July 16, Hawaii Volcanoes National Park remains closed. However, National Park rangers and staff are available to answer questions and share stories at the Mokupāpapa Discovery Center in Hilo: http://www.papahanaumokuakea.gov. Additionally, the lava and eruption are viewable by helicopter tour. Contact the hotel concierge for details at +1 808 886 1234.
