Cancellation Policy

If you register for an IEEE 802  Wireless Interim Session and  are unable to attend the session, you MUST request cancellation of your registration in order to receive a refund of all or part of the fees paid.

Registration cannot be transferred to another individual or session.

Cancellation requests must be submitted either by using the online cancellation system or by sending an email to the 802 Meeting Planners.

  • Cancellation requests using the online system will result in an immediate transmission of a cancellation acknowledgement via email.

  • Cancellation requests using email will be acknowledged by return email within 72 hours.
  • If you have not received an acknowledgement after 72 hours, please forward a copy of your original email request so we may process your cancellation based on your original request.

CANCELATION REFUNDS

The amount of your refund depends on the date and time when your cancellation request is submitted to the 802 Meeting Planners and is subject to the following dates:

  • Full Refund: Before 6:00 PM Pacific Time April 15, 2016, a full refund of the registration fee paid will be applied to the credit card used for registration.
  • Partial Refund ($US 150.00 Cancellation Fee Applies): After 6:00 PM Pacific Time April 15, 2016 and Before 6:00 PM Pacific Time May 15, 2016 a  refund of the registration fee  less $US 150.00  will be applied to the credit card used for registration.
  • No Refund: After 6:00 PM Pacific Time May 15, 2016 no refund will be issued.

Issuing of Cancellation Refunds

All refunds will be issued after the cancellation deadline of the session.

Event Registration Cancellation Policy Does Not Apply to Hotel Reservation Cancellations
This cancellation policy applies only to session registrations. The policy does not pertain to hotel accommodations, which are governed by the hotel’s cancellation policies and remain the sole responsibility of the attendee.
