The objective of the New Comer Training is to introduce new meeting attendees to IEEE 802 plenary meetings, to the IEEE 802 standards process so that they may:
[1] Increase their understanding of the importance that standards play within engineering technology.
[2] Feel more comfortable participating in the standards process in future academic pursuits, or as practicing engineers.
The session will consist of a presentation as well as a question and answer period.
